ABOUT
Irene Pérez is a Barcelona-based illustrator creating distilled visual narratives that connect culture and nature through symbolic thinking.
Drawing on a background in Fine Arts and Graphic Design, she transforms complex concepts into bold, memorable images where geometry, texture and colour become tools for storytelling. Inspired by anthropology, folklore, literature and the performing arts, her work explores the ways in which symbols shape our relationship with the natural world.
She collaborates with publishers, newspapers, magazines, cultural institutions and international brands, while combining her professional practice with teaching and the development of personal projects
